#7: Uncovering the Unexpected: What Really Goes into Nursing?

<p>In this episode of the podcast, we had the pleasure of speaking with Tosha Lev, a rising star on TikTok who is quickly becoming one of the top influencers on the platform. Tosha is a male nurse working in labor and delivery, and with close to 100,000 followers on TikTok, he is a powerful voice for women's health.</p>

<p>But Tosha's journey to success has been anything but easy. Born with type 1 diabetes, Tosha faced numerous challenges early on in life. Nevertheless, he persevered and went on to become an advocate for women's health, working in a field that is dominated by women.</p>

<p>During the podcast, Tosha shares his struggles and the cards that were stacked against him. He opens up about the difficulties of being born with a chronic condition, growing up as an adopted child, and working in a field that is not typically associated with men. Despite all of these obstacles, Tosha has never lost sight of his goals and continues to work towards his dream of becoming a nurse practitioner.</p>

<p>Currently, Tosha is enrolled in a doctoral program for nurse practitioners at Baylor University, and we had the opportunity to hear about his experiences there and what he hopes to accomplish in the future.</p>
