Maddie Soto's Killer Makes Sick Admission at Shocking Plea Hearing

<p>Stephan Sterns entered into a plea agreement for the murder and sexual battery of Maddie Soto days before his trial on sex crimes charges was set to begin. Maddie had just turned 13 when she disappeared from her mother's condo in Kissimmee, Florida in February 2024. Police found more than 1,700 images of Sterns abusing Maddie on his google drive. Sterns pleaded no contest to Maddie's murder but guilty to sexual battery which allowed him to avoid a possible death sentence.
