'Pathetic' Husband Snaps, Murdering Wife Over Divorce Request

<p>Christina Hampton was a beloved nurse and mother to three sons. In October 2025, Christina told her husband, Clifton Hampton, that she wanted a divorce and that he was "pathetic." After she went to sleep that night, and following arguments, investigators believe Clifton stood over her, strangled her and then came up with a series of cover stories.
