Obsessed Ex Murders Girlfriend on New First Date

<p>Chris Smith went on a first date with Leslie Reeves in November 2021 and doesn't remember one moment of their encounter. Smith lived in rural Illinois and awoke in a hospital bed weeks later. Prosecutors would later say Reeves' ex-boyfriend, Bobby Tarr, broke into Smith's home and shot him in the head and Reeves. Reeves did not survive but miraculously Smith recovered.
