Comprised of Mr. Lif & Akrobatik, this Boston duo has been largely silent since they dropped their debut album “Black Dialogue” alongside DJ Fakts One in 2004. This all changed in August of this year with the release of “Resolution” on Mello Music Group, their first album in over a decade. We talk about the new record, how long they’ve been working on the reunion and what they’re looking forward to the most this fall as they head out on the first leg of the tour in support of the album. We also hop in the wayback machine and get the breakdown on the hiatus, including near death experiences for both Lif and Ak and what they’ve been doing in the interim - such as Lif becoming a member of Thievery Corporation and Ak’s consistent solo & feature work.
