BANG! @southernvangard #radio presents the SIR VETERANO interview session! This West Coast producer began making a name for himself in the early-mid 2000s, and around 2010 he was on the cusp of a breakthrough - his rep was gaining steam, the production resume was turning heads, Aftermath & Bad Boy were calling - but the reality was he was burned out, in a big way - so he decided to put the music to the side and focus on his own personal well being. Around 2018 that music itch showed up (it never truly goes away), and after having a few conversations with longtime friends / managers WALT LIQUOR & KWA NGUYEN of FRESH YARD RECORDS, he decided to jump back in the pool again. The result is “The Gathering”, an LP filled with melt your face off production and rhymes from the very best: MURS, FASHAWN, MITCHY SLICK, PLANET ASIA, MC EIHT, RAS KASS, BISHOP LAMONT, PHAT KAT, GUILTY SIMPSON, MED, CASUAL, SKILLZ, SUPASTITION, 4TWO7, & K-B. We get the entire story on how this LP came to be, why a Ouija board session with Bishop Lamont & DR. DRE inspired the intro and what else we can expect from Veterano in the rest of 2020 and beyond.
