156: We Are Called to Charity!

<p>Charity is defined as "kindness and tolerance in judging others." In this episode I talk for a bit about relationships and how it is common to be in relationship for what you can get out of that relationship. Our culture praises those who can see in a relationship what they can get out of it, think of the quintessential salesman/businessman. This is NOT to say that all salesmen/businessmen are only selfish in relationships but that it is a trait that is encouraged by the world. To see another person for the value they bring to you instead of what you can bring to the other.</p> <p>Jesus modeled sacrificial relationships and he did not choose to only be in relationships with those who he agreed with, we are called to do likewise.
