Summary
In this episode of the Lions of Liberty Podcast, host Marc Clair welcomes in veteran libertarian political activist, lawyer and author Jim Ostrowski! Jim runs the website LibertyMovement.org, which seeks to coalesce a liberty movement in the post-Ron Paul era to create direct citizen action in order to create greater change towards liberty. Before we get into that, Jim starts things off by describing just how he came to take interest in the ideas of liberty, and what he saw first-hand as the modern liberty movement began to take shape in the ’60’s and ’70’s. Marc and Jim go on to to discuss why the Rand Paul campaign failed to capture the liberty movement ignited by Ron Paul, why Jim feels direct citizen action is the most appropriate strategy for advancing liberty in our current political climate, as well as Jim’s work on progressivism.
