Tonight there are new strikes on the U.S. embassy in Iraq, and the U.S. military dropped 5,000-pound, GPS-guided bombs to blow up Iranian missile sites threatening ships in the Gulf. Back home, top national security official Joe Kent became the first senior administration member to quit over the war. Quoting now from his resignation letter to the president: "Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby."
