Summary
It’s a Tuesday, so it’s time for 2 Peas!
Warm up
Tovah instructs Eric as to how our “Peas of Information” should go in the future. Apparently, Eric suffers from the disease of “laziness.”
World Peas-our segment where we talk about goings-on in pop culture
A little Simone Biles talk…one of the greatest athletes of all time, and her husband thinks he’s the one people know. We don’t even know who he is!
A little Timberlake chat about his recent DUI, which reminds Eric about Mel Gibson (that tool) and his DUI decades ago, when he goes full anti-semite with the police.
The excitement is palpable for the final season of Cobra Kai!
Peas are Family-our segment where we regale the listening audience with a story from our family archives
Tovah and Eric talk about the 2017 trip to Barcelona, etc., where right outside their hotel was the location of a terrorist attack the day before, and then when they went to Marseilles…
Eric also references his special set of skills that allowed him to remain calm when he goes window shopping in Sorrento, Italy while the rest of the crew get concerned for his whereabouts.
Peas of Information-we ask Tovah a couple of questions unrelated to anything we’ve talked about in this episode and get her stream of consciousness answers.
This week, Eric asks about gift giving and how Tovah would spend $1 million dollars.
Using Tovah’s suggestion, Eric goes with a question about Tovah’s favorite Chinese restaurants in the suburbs.
To conclude, at Tovah’s request, Eric breaks down the fourth wall and let’s a blooper reel run as we close out this episode…it’s not always as easy as we make it sound (tongue planted firmly in cheek.)
