In a leaked transcript of a discussion between then Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani and Joe Biden three weeks before the fall of Kabul, Biden pressed Ghani to lie to the international community about the strength of his government, a fact that ended up directly contradicting Biden's assertion that no one saw the fall of Kabul coming as fast as it ultimately happened.
