<p style="text-align: left;">My name is Britnee Alphin. I am a two-time degreed Wife and Mommy of two hailing from Long Island, New York with Guyanese roots. I've dabbled in many entrepreneurial endeavors but the main gift that sticks is photography. It's had a stronghold on me for 10+ years. As of December 2021, I am officially in the "new me, who dis" crowd as I've successfully had bariatric weight loss surgery-- VSG to be specific. After struggling for many years with my weight and health, I decided to dedicate my social media presence to motivating people to love themselves and take a hold of their health. I advocate for men and women who struggle with their weight and share my journey through my podcast and YouTube platforms called My Friend, Bari. In addition to helping bring a bright light to the body-positive world, my husband and I have created a social media Tribe <em>by accident.</em> We posted a TikTok video in October 2021 and our lives changed from that one video. Now we have the honor and privilege of sharing our love story with thousands of people who pour into us daily. The moral of my story is, that I'm just a woman with a huge heart, enough talents to share, and one heck of a story to tell.   </p>
