Introducing the "Foreign Malign Influence Center"

<p>The Biden Totalitarian Regime (BTR) has recently and to little fanfare introduced its <a href="https://www.odni.gov/index.php/ncsc-what-we-do/340-about/organization/foreign-malign-influence-center">Foreign Malign Influence Center</a>, although it was activated on September 23, 2022. It was created by a provision based on Klobuchar and Reed’s <a href="https://www.klobuchar.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/2019/9/klobuchar-reed-introduce-legislation-to-combat-foreign-influence-campaigns">Combatting Foreign Influence Act</a>, enacted as part of the Fiscal Year 2020 National Defense Authorization Act. It is essentially an enhancement of the Global Engagement Center (GEC), a “State Department entity <a href="https://theintercept.com/2023/05/05/foreign-malign-influence-center-disinformation/">tasked </a>with countering foreign disinformation by amplifying America’s own propaganda”.</p>

<p>We all remember how one year ago the BTR) paused its “controversial <a href="https://nypost.com/2022/04/28/joe-biden-under-fire-for-dystopian-disinformation-bureau/">plans to create</a> a Disinformation Board”.</p>

<p>And who could forget disinformation guru Nina Jankowicz, who’s idea of standing up for the First Amendment included <a href="https://nypost.com/2022/05/12/nina-jankowicz-says-verified-twitter-users-should-edit-tweets/">letting “verified” Twitter users “edit” other users’ tweets</a>. A lot happened in the months after she made that statement. Elon Musk took over Twitter and I am sure this is the last thing she would want now. She’d probably shut Twitter down permanently if she had her way. I don’t think she moved on to a career on Broadway.</p>
