It is uncharted territory for America. Just as Donald Trump was the first president to be twice impeached, he is now the first ex-president to be indicted. The former president and his legal team were said to be caught off guard by the announcement. Shortly after the news broke, Mr. Trump, with wife Melania, were spotted at his private club having dinner with supporters. And as with so many things connected to Donald Trump, the indictment has sparked heated conflicting reactions. Some saying it underscores that all are equal under the law, others saying its pure politics. Plus, among those who testified to the grand jury is the former owner of the National Enquirer…which years ago paid a former Playboy model for her story of an alleged affair with Trump - and never published it. Her name is Karen McDougal and unlike Stormy Daniels she has shunned the spotlight…but she may now play a key role in the case. And It was a rite of passage.
