And an 80-year-old neighborhood dog walker was killed when a man tried to steal her car. As Les Trent reports, police say the suspect is an eight time convicted felon who is now being held behind bars. Plus, for more than four decades he was a reporter in Las Vegas covering mobsters and public officials. Then he was murdered - stabbed outside his home. The suspect arrested for the killing turned out to be a former elected official who was the subject of the journalist's reporting. Now he's taking the stand saying he's not a murderer. And who knew the Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s divorce would make it here to the DNC. Well it did, courtesy of actress Mindy Kaling who gave a shout out to Ben.
