<p>We are nearly about to enter election season in Australia. As you would have now heard us say a million times on this podcast, Australia is due to hold an election on 17 May or before. And that could mean we are about to enter a period of disinformation and misinformation in Australia. </p> <p>Today, we’re talking about a very specific type of false information - and that is deepfake. More specifically, we want to talk about how deepfakes can impact elections.
