Summary
<p>On February 15th 2022, a committee from the Utah House of Representatives favorably passed for further consideration a piece of legislation entitled H.B. 60 Vaccine Passport Amendments. In essence, the bill seeks to prohibit private businesses and public spaces from requiring a vaccine passport for entry or employment. While the spirit of this bill may be in good faith, it is still government intervention that encroaches on a private business' ability to operate as they see fit. Public spaces, however, are different because their very nature is nothing like that of a private entity. In this episode, I make the case as to why we should not support such legislation for private business.</p>
