A popular meme that is circulating the internet involves women posting videos of men demonstrating uncommon provision and devotion with the caption: “if he wanted to, he would.” The idea here is that women should never accept less than full princess treatment in their romantic relationships. However, there is more to this trope than meets the eye. In today’s episode, I discuss some of the surprising motivations behind female crowing.
