Fighting against Nuclear energy, fighting against GMO, and the most recent example denying biological dimorphism in humans. These beliefs then get pushed into the mainstream and become policy and sometimes even law. But the news and most people would tell you its conservatives who deny science when the truth is science denial is prevalent in all political ideologies.
