125. Fearlessly Failing - Grant Smillie

<p>It was such a pleasure to sit down with Grant Smillie; he's been a very supportive and inspiring human to me over the years. </p><p>Grant was first known as an iconic DJ and producer in the music industry in Australia; winning not 1 but 2 ARIAS, setting up his own record label, touring the world and living every music producers and DJ's dream. But Grant has always has always believed in investing in his passions and not having regrets; and he has a passion not only for music but also for hospitality. Which has led him to setting up multiple iconic food and drinks spots both in Australia and America; EP &amp; LP which is a multi level restaurant and rooftop bar in West Hollywood, Strings Of Life (S.O.L) which is a brilliant cafe and i can confirm the coffee is out of this world, then there's Melrose Rooftop Theatre which is an outdoor converted car park into rooftop theatre on you guessed it, Melrose. This Summer in LA he's opening another food spot and rooftop bar called Grandmaster Records (which from the 70's was in fact a music recording studio). This guy does not stop. And if you're in Melbs then check-out his floating bar in the city called Ponyfish Island. Grant say's "Do I work harder than the average person? Absolutely."
