Summary
I'm rapt to have a long time mate on the pod today. Tobes is a celebrity chef (i'm sure he's going to kill me for saying that, but it's true, he is, and a mighty talented one at that) and 5 times author. Tobes has always been going after the stuff he loves. He's run, owned and set up kitchens and returns a bunch of times. He was asked to be the head chef at Jamie Oliver's fifteen in London, which was all about training up kids from the street and really struggling, and giving them the skill set to go out and get jobs after working at fifteen restaurants. Then Tobes launched fifteen in Melbs himself. In this chat he talks about the highs and lows of running not just this restaurant and business but a bunch of them. We talked about the classic chef ego and I asked if it really existed. That's what I think I love most about Tobie Puttock, it's his unfiltered honesty and hard work ethic.
He's also recently launched his sustrainbe frozen meals: Made by Tobie which I was lucky enough to taste test and they were 10/10 delish, and kind to the planet. You can check them out here: https://www.madebytobie.com/

And here's more on Tobie: https://www.tobieputtock.com/

Hope you love this chat as much as I did!
Big love,

Hosted on Acast.
