Illegal Voters and the 2024 Election | Ep 166
Summary
Sean sits down with Hans Von Spakovsky an expert on election integrity from The Heritage Foundation. In 2020, 'zuck bucks' sent $450 million dollars to big Democratic strongholds to influence urban cities to get out and vote Democrat. There were no laws in place against private donors to give money to elected officials, since then 28 states have banned 'zuck bucks' style funding. Unsecured drop-boxes are still an issue that gets decided on a state level. States like Connecticut had an election overturned after evidence of fraud came to light. Hans explains what The Heritage Foundation and similar organizations are doing to prevent illegal voters from participating in the upcoming election. Ballot harvesting varies from state to state with 23 states plus D.C. allowing 'someone chosen by the voter,' essentially an unspecified individual to return mail ballots on a voter's behalf. The Heritage Foundation is keeping track of every state and how they fair with their election integrity scorecard.
