<p>Joe was CISO at UBER when they got hit by cybercrooks. What did Joe do? He hid it. He paid the criminals $100k under a phony bug bounty, had them sign an NDA, and had them promise they didn't steal any data (Data that later wound up on darkweb markets).</p>
<p>But it gets worse. Joe Sullivan knew who the attackers were and remained silent as they went and victimized other companies.</p>
