For weeks, Russian forces have besieged the Ukrainian port city of <a href="https://www.economist.com/europe/2022/03/21/hundreds-of-thousands-face-catastrophe-in-mariupol" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Mariupol</a>. Up to 90% of its structures have been destroyed, and while thousands have fled, plenty remain--without food, water, medicine or electricity.
