<p>Kwasi Kwarteng, the Chancellor, presented a mini-Budget today (23 September) whose centrepiece was the <a href="https://www.newstatesman.com/business/economics/2022/09/truss-government-planning-rich-richer" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">biggest tax cuts in decades</a> in an attempt to stimulate the economy.
