Their fates have changed, but somethings will always remain the same. Every year birthdays come and go. Will our heiresses celebrate and make a wish for a better tomorrow? Away at their boarding schools, Barbara Hutton and Doris Duke are ignored and forgotten on their birthdays. Eventually, Barbara celebrates with her loyal servants, while Doris gets a visit with her brother Walker Inman.
