For the first time in my adult life I find myself confronted with an actual choice in a general election for president of the united States of America with regard to the two most popular political parties in the US. I say this because I see little difference between the “two” parties of our one party system of large, ever growing and expanding government. Neither party reflects the founding principles that these united States were built on.

Enlightenment principles of reason, rights, and individualism. Principles that created the greatest country on earth and in human history.

The republic is in the process of collapsing and has been for some time. With over *$200 trillion* dollars in total debt, perpetual war, endless taxes, endless domestic spying, entangling alliances, a cultural and social war on men, and an all out assault on individual rights across the board, it is a testament to the founding generation of American men that this country is still standing – and that there is still hope for a future.

The Libertarian party is the third largest political party in the united States. They are the only party today with any traction at all that even remotely respects individual rights, the federal constitution, the founding of this country, and the men who created it.

While I rarely consider myself a Libertarian, I have supported the party for years, and still do, because while lacking in specifics, they are the only directionally accurate political party available today. While never enthralled by Governor Johnson – as he is a far cry from the 1988 presidential nominee Dr. Ron Paul – I supported his ticket.

Living in the “swing State” of Florida however, I have since changed my position, and believe every American living in such a State should support Donald Trump for POTUS. And if your State is decisively in Trumps favor, that you should seriously consider voting third party, Libertarian or otherwise, to help untangle the two party monopoly on politics in this country.

The turning point for me was the #trumptapes controversy. That recording reflected a man engaging in light banter, in private, among friends. Any adult male with the slightest understanding of women has said things of this nature to their friends. I found the recording not only not-offensive, but refreshing to hear a presidential candidate speak so candidly.

Yes billionaire Donald Trump is male, and he likes women. And so the universe continued…
