Recently, there has been a lot of discourse surrounding the notion that "people don't want to work anymore". And it's because under the Cares Act and American Rescue Plan Act, some people are able to make more on unemployment, so they are choosing to stay home instead of work.
But, according to a Bank of America research report, only those earning less than $32,000 annually could make more money on unemployment than they could from work, which isn't even enough to to afford an average home in any of our 50 states.
Which begs the question: what is the value of a worker?
