Police say the drugs were hidden in charcoal sacks shipped from Ghana and uncovered at Port Botany.
Officers watched as the consignment was delivered to a Girraween storage unit, where the actress allegedly helped unpack it.
She was later arrested at a Blacktown home, with an Adelaide couple also charged over the plot.
Hussen remains behind bars and faces life in prison if convicted.
