YouTube Description

as posted by the channel

There’s one obvious demographic that isn’t participating in this election as much as others: voters 18 through 25.

As of Friday, 7,815 women in this age group have cast ballots and 8,236 men have voted. A group deeply affected by the lack of younger people voting is veterans, particularly people who fought in the Vietnam War when the voting age was 21 and they were still too young.

The voting age wasn't lowered to 18 until July 1, 1971 under the 26th Amendment.
