Metal airplane parts fell from the sky on Saturday, Feb. 20 from a passing aircraft in Denver area, according to law enforcement and fire agencies.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the Boeing 777-200's right engine failed shortly after takeoff about 1 p.m. Saturday from Denver International Airport (DIA).
Authorities were asking anyone who finds debris not to touch or move it and instead to report what they found to 303-438-6400.
