The front triggered severe storms around 2pm. Tornado Warnings were issued for Denver as rotating storms moved quickly northeast dropping one-inch diameter hail and heavy flooding rainfall.
Two tornado warnings that were issued for areas including Brighton, Frederick and Fort Lupton and for Parker and Franktown expired around 3:30 p.m., with no tornadoes or funnel clouds spotted, according to the National Weather Service.
