A choir of Congolese immigrants from the 8TH CEPAC Mission Pentecostal of Colorado Church, supported by the Village Exchange Center, performs at the Writer Square plaza at 15th and Larimer in downtown Denver on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022.

The choir is comprised of women and men who have fled severe conditions in the Congo to rebuild in Colorado. Village Exchange Center is a nonprofit partner of the Giving Machines this year. VEC serves immigrants and refugees through community connection.

The performances are part of bringing the community together to help others, especially during the giving season. Performances sponsored by the Denver Office of Nonprofit Engagement.
