A massive cemetery is seen in Antakya, Turkey on new satellite imagery from Maxar Technologies, as the death toll from the deadly earthquakes continues to rise.
CNN attempted to visit the site on Sunday but was prevented from filming.
In the imagery, rows of graves are seen in what used to be just a field. The gravesite is located north of Antakya, in between a highway and a river.
Additional satellite imagery from the European Space Agency's Sentinel-2 indicates that activity at the site began after February 9. Drone video, taken by Reuters, shows workers using trench diggers and bulldozers to create long rows in the dirt.
Workers bring bodies from a nearby staging ground for burial. They place them in the graves, mark the graves, and then use a bulldozer to cover the remains.
