Jeffco Public Schools, one of Colorado's largest school districts, said they were not among the districts that received swatting calls or threats.
"While none have happened in Jeffco Public Schools, law enforcement is confirming at least five cases of swatting at schools and other organizations across Colorado," the district said in a letter to parents.
Swatting is when someone makes a false call to law enforcement, claiming an emergency situation and providing a real address for officers to respond to.
