as posted by the channelA severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for much of eastern and central Colorado as a second day of storms is expected to hit the region.
The watch is in effect until 9 p.m. Thursday for the Front Range, including Denver and Boulder, and areas to the east.
Hail and flooding are the primary concerns Thursday, with potential for isolated tornadoes. In the Denver metro area, the weather is expected to be most active between 2 and 6 p.m. Elsewhere, the threat continues until 9 p.m.
