The Smokehouse Creek Fire is now the largest in Texas state history at one million acres.

Video from the Fort Worth Fire Department shows crews arriving to help fight the blaze, underneath an eerily orange sky.

The blaze started on Monday and exploded in size on Wednesday, jumping into parts of neighboring Oklahoma. It is now larger than the state of Rhode Island, and the Texas A&M Forest Service said the flames were only about 3% contained.
