as posted by the channelColorado is digging out Friday after a strong winter snowstorm. The steadiest and heaviest snow fell overnight Thursday into Friday morning, with the snow forecast to end by mid-morning on Friday.
The southwest Denver metro area and foothills received the most snow, with reports of 17 inches in Conifer, 16 inches in Tiny Town, 13.5 inches in Aspen Park, and a foot of snow reported in Evergreen.
The northeast side of the Denver area received the least amount of snow. At the official Denver weather station at Denver International Airport, there was just over half an inch of snow reported.
