The world's largest passenger aircraft has arrived in Colorado.

Lufthansa Airlines announced in January it will fly the Airbus A380 between the Denver International Airport (DIA) and Germany.

The first of these daily flights is scheduled to land in Denver at 1:45 p.m. local time Wednesday. The A380 departed Munich at 11:15 a.m. The flight will then depart Denver at 4:15 p.m. and land in Munich at 10:50 a.m. on Thursday.

Lufthansa said it will operate daily service between Denver and Munich aboard the Airbus A380 from April 30 to Sept. 30. This is the first time a regularly scheduled flight on the Airbus A380 will operate at DIA, according to Lufthansa.
