0:39Now PlayingTwo tornadoes tracked west and north of Bennett and were on the ground at the same time between 1:40 p.m. and 1:46 p.m. Both were classified as EF2.
One of those tornadoes was a landspout, and the other was a supercell, the National Weather Service said.
The first one of the Bennett tornadoes had a path length of 5.09 miles and peak wind speed of 125 mph, and the second had a path length of 4.62 miles with peak wind speed of 112 mph.
The Adams County and Arapahoe County sheriff's offices said 17 buildings, including six homes, were destroyed or damaged near Bennett. No injuries were reported.
