A man accused of hitting a Colorado State Patrol trooper and a Colorado Department of Transportation highway worker and leaving the scene was arrested early Sunday morning.

Around 1:56 a.m., CSP said the driver of a Toyota Camry hit the back of a CSP patrol vehicle that was providing traffic control for another crash in an eastbound lane on US 36 near Pecos Street. That caused the patrol vehicle to pin the CDOT contractor.
