The shuttered 1950s-era department store, located across the street from the Cherry Creek Shopping Center, is being demolished in a new redevelopment project.
Debt financing to begin the project, which will also see the demolition of a former Crate & Barrel building, was secured earlier this year by Denver-based developers BMC Investments, in partnership with L.A. investment firm Prism Places and Invesco Real Estate.
