11:12Now PlayingMandatory evacuation orders prompted by flooding in Pagosa Springs and Archuleta County were lifted Tuesday, while some evacuations in neighboring La Plata County, where dozens of homes have been damaged, remain in effect.
Since the flooding started early Saturday morning, 90 homes have been damaged in the Vallecito Reservoir area of La Plata County.
About 55 miles to the east, in Pagosa Springs, the San Juan River rose over its banks, flooding parts of downtown. Six inches of rain fell in some places. The city manager expects the total damage to homes, businesses and other areas hit by the floods to be in the millions.
