3:10Now PlayingThe two store clerks who were hurt in a shooting at a southeast Denver gas station late last month were injured by rounds discharged by officers, the Denver Police Department said in a press conference on Monday.
DPD Major Crimes Division Commander Matt Clark said that fragments or shrapnel from rounds discharged by Denver officers were the reason for the injuries to one employee's lower leg and the other's foot. It's unclear which officer or officers fired the shots that injured the employees.
