as posted by the channelA Colorado Department of Transportation worker was hit and seriously injured by a pickup truck Tuesday morning.
Colorado State Patrol said the crash happened around 11:30 a.m. near mile marker 310 on Interstate 70 east of Strasburg in Arapahoe County.
The CDOT worker, a 58-year-old man, was on the left shoulder of the eastbound lanes repairing the guardrail, CSP said. The driver of a Ford F-150 was headed east when the truck went into the left shoulder, striking the CDOT worker and then hitting a cement barrier.
