When the Chiefs announced they would leave Missouri for a new domed stadium in Kansas, the team secured a deal that has taxpayers covering 60% of the stadium cost. The terms of the Broncos deal with the city of Denver is not yet public, nor voted on by city council yet, but the team has proposed not asking for public dollars for the new Burnham Yard stadium itself.
