3:56Now PlayingThe Colorado Department of Corrections will reevaluate the risk levels of more than 1,700 parolees following a series of reports from 9NEWS Investigates that found systemic problems with the way the state was gauging the risk levels of some of its most dangerous offenders.
The errors, now believed by DOC leadership to be widespread, left dozens of parolees free to reoffend with little to no oversight in the weeks and months prior to their new crimes.
