The Far East Center unveiled its historic landmark plaque during Lunar New Year festivities, months after officially earning the designation in 2024. Organizers chose this year’s celebration to publicly mark the milestone.
According to organizers, the designation makes the Far East Center the first Asian-owned historic landmark in Colorado. It’s also believed to be the first Vietnamese-owned plaza or shopping center in the United States to receive a historic designation.
