as posted by the channel

At Samuels Elementary School in southeast Denver, a fourth-grader named Dereón Moore is learning more than how to build a robot. She's learning not to give up.

"I never give up because then I just feel disappointed in myself that I gave up on this goal, especially if I really wanted it for a long time," Moore said.

Moore is among the students participating in Samuels Elementary's robotics program, a weekly after-school club that meets every Monday. The program was created by teacher Kathy Le and is part of a broader science, technology, engineering, art and math — or STEAM — focus at the Denver Public Schools pre-K through fifth-grade campus, where community partnerships and hands-on learning are designed to open doors for every student.
