Police said the person inside the car was trapped, and the wall partially collapsed. Officers and firefighters rescued the person, who was released from the hospital a few days later and is expected to make a full recovery.
Police said there were employees and customers inside the store at the time, and none reported injuries.
The business remains closed indefinitely.
Police identified the driver as 33-year-old Daniel Torrez. Police said he believed his brakes failed, but investigators determined there were no mechanical issues with the truck.
